It is a HGST DeskStar 6 TB drive. Though the name has changed think of 'HGST Deskstar' as the old Hitachi Deskstar drives. Hitache was bought out by, I think, Seagate but have apparently kept up the old excellent standards.
I started looking at 8 TB drives but decided against; Just too much of a price difference. Besides, on a 6 TB drive, I can put ~1000 full DVD format videos. If I start to run out of room I REALLY need to weed out some videos.
Sigh, now I have an internal and external 4 TB drive that I don't know what will happen. LOL! Anyone want to offer a price and pay shipping?
