I just put the extra solid state drive in my desktop but not sure with one part before I go further. My operating system is Windows 10 64X Home. I have another solid state drive already in the computer with the main drive for C:/. The question is that I am not sure which part do I choose before initialize the extra solid state drive. Here is what I copy the message that show on my monitor screen. Look below:
Initialize Disk
You must initialize a disk before Logical Manager can access it.
Select disks
Disk 3
Use the following partition style for the selected disks.
( ) MBR (Master Boot Record)
( ) GPT (GUID Partition Table)
Note: THE GPT partition style is not recognized by all previous versions of Windows.
[ OK ] [ Cancel ]
So which part should I click with " MBR " or " GPT " to initialize the solid state drive. I am planning to move my game simulation to this solid state drive from the main solid state drive. Because I am running out of space on the main solid state drive.
Your help would be appreciated
Thank you,
John

I still use MBR for my drives in Win10. 3 SSDs in it.

I agree with MBR unless the drive is over 2GB which, of course, it is not being an SSD.

Thank you to Jay and Dave for your input about the solid state drive. All done and now using for another drive in my desktop strictly to game simulation.
