What do you absolutely have on your list of must watch Christmas movies?

For me it is the following...

It's A Wonderful Life with James Stewart and Donna Reed.

The original A Christmas Carol with Alastair Sim. Later George C Scott did a decent job as Scrooge but Sim rules in the role.

White Christmas with Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye, Rosemary Clooney and Vera-Ellen.

There are others but the above three are absolutes. ;)

I always cook a traditional (UK style, that's turkey and all the trimmings) xmas dinner in our household, kind of my way of saying thank you to my wife for putting up with me :)

Because i always work night shift (a wee xmas insight for Jay there! lol) and i won't get home until 9am on xmas morning this year, it'll be a quick wash and change, open presents... kitchen, with beer of course.... if I'm still awake in the evening after the meal I'm looking forward to watching E.T. or Gremlins this year...

If i fall asleep after the meal then one or other is definitely on my watch list for Boxing Day. :D

As to cooking I'm doing turkey this year but just a breast. A breast I can fit on my in-door rotisserie. A turkey breast on a rotisserie slow cooked is amazing! I baste often with a mix of butter, sage, basil and other stuff. ;)

We don't bother watching films, we might watch the odd one but we don't have any in particular we watch at Christmas.
